COMPARISON

VeloViewer vs Veloturf

VeloViewer is where tile hunting started: Explorer tiles, max square and max cluster, plus a deep layer of Strava analytics — segments, PRs, yearly stats. The Explorer features need the paid tier.

Veloturf is only the game layer. No analytics, no lifetime stats — just the same tiles, held by whoever rides them most, stolen by friends, and reset every month. Free, and it reads the same rides.

WHO SHOULD USE WHICH

Use VeloViewer if…

you want the full picture of your riding — every stat, every segment, and the biggest max square you can build over years. It is the deepest tool in the category and worth the subscription for analytics-minded riders.

Use Veloturf if…

you want the tiles to be a game between people you know, and you want it free. Both read the same rides, so most Veloturf players keep VeloViewer or Statshunters for the numbers.

Common questions

Is VeloViewer free?

VeloViewer has a free tier with a limited activity history; the Explorer tiles and max-square features are part of the paid PRO subscription. Check veloviewer.com for current pricing.

Does Veloturf show my max square?

No. Veloturf scores ownership per race and per month, not lifetime totals. Use VeloViewer or Statshunters for max square and max cluster.

Can I use both?

Yes. Both connect to the same rides, so nothing needs to be uploaded twice. Veloturf is not affiliated with VeloViewer.
